Overkill don’t mess with their sound much. Their 19th album, The Wings of War, is 50 minutes of pure thrash. With The Wings of War, Overkill further solidifies their reputation as one of the most consistent bands in metal. You could argue it blends so much into their catalogue as to not stand out, but that’s the beauty of their consistency. If you are a fan of the band they’re all good.
