Gygax – High Fantasy

Named after the co-inventor of Dungeons & Dragons (Gary Gygax) Gygax return with their third LP High Fantasy. Formed by former Huntress bassist Eric Harris and guitarist Bryant Throckmorten the band states that their two biggest influences are Dungeons & Dragons and Thin Lizzy, which is exactly what you get. It’s intentionally dated in sound and production and works for what it is, but probably not everyone’s cup of tea.
