New Orleans’ Exhorder is back after a very long hiatus with their long overdue third album, Mourn The Southern Skies. They initally split in 1994, reunited 2008-2011 but that short run ended with the death of bassist Frankie Sparcello. Armed with a new bassist (Jason Viebrooks) and a new drummer (Sasha Horn) Mourn The Southern Skies is a back-to-basics thrash throwback. But can you call it a throwback, when they were there in the beginning?
